Utility space does not have to feel like leftover space.

Why a well-planned service yard changes more than the room
In a Singapore home, the service yard rarely works in isolation. It influences neighbouring rooms, circulation and the routines that happen around it.
When laundry, drying, cleaning equipment and household services being concentrated into one compact zone, small planning decisions become noticeable every day. We resolve those practical relationships first so the design feels effortless rather than simply finished.

Make every practical centimetre earn its place.
How we design a service yard that actually works
What we consider before designing your service yard
- Washer and dryer dimensions
- Drainage and water points
- Natural ventilation
- Drying systems
- Cleaning equipment storage
- Service access
- HDB or condominium restrictions
These priorities are reviewed against the actual property, existing services and renovation scope before the design direction is finalised.
Your Plans!
Do not design over the services.
Measure appliance doors and access panels before surrounding them with cabinetry. Utility spaces fail quickly when maintenance access is treated as an afterthought.
We also keep drying, ventilation and drainage requirements in view so added storage does not compromise the functions the yard still needs to perform.
